Amtrak bus causes wildfire
An Amtrak bus caught fire on I-5 yesterday north of Los Angeles. Fortunately, no one aboard the bus was injured.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, the blaze caught near-by brush on fire. Approximately 10 acres were burned. Northbound traffic was at a stand-still while fire crews responded.
Close by, some 200 firefighters were battled a 50-acre wildfire in the same region of Los Angeles County. The fire was 70% contained last night.
